Starts Wednesday 21st January 2026
Have you done a few triathlons and not sure what to do next or how to progress? This programme could be for you.
A programme over four months for people who have done a few events and are wondering what to do next or who are wondering how to improve their performance.
The first session will be a face to face in the pub, followed by online Zoom sessions. There will be follow up notes after each session if life means you miss it. The programme will include making your own race plan for the season, and producing your own SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) to help you design your own training. Material covered could include what types and distances of races are available, how to structure your training, where should your focus go across the three sports, how to use heart rate zones, nutrition both in and out of racing, recovery from training, and race planning and pacing.
We will be having some guest athletes from the Club so you can hear their stories. Notes will be produced and circulated after every session.
First session Wednesday 21st January in Romneys Pub, Kendal 6.00pm – 7.00pm, before swimming. Welcome and introductions and a chance to ask questions and share what you would you like to be covered through the programme.
Zoom sessions – Thursdays 6.30-7.30 p.m.
One to one chats fitted in around Club training sessions when convenient.
