Equipment Hire
The Club has some equipment for hire by members only. Currently this consists of a FLOWBIO Sensor for measuring sweat loss, a CORE 2 Thermal Sensor for measuring your core body temperature, a Bike Box and the Club Gazebo. Please see below for further information and the online booking form.
FLOWBIO Sensor
This is a very clever little sensor which measures your sodium and fluid losses and records the session temperature. This data enables you to work out your fluid and sodium needs with far more accuracy than the normal guesstimate. It works in conjunction with an app and is very simple to operate. If you are competitive about your racing, whether against yourself or others, this has the potential to improve your performance.
COST: First hire £25 for two weeks, further hires by the same person will be at a reduced rate. There will also be a £50 deposit.
CORE 2 Thermal Sensor
The CORE 2 Thermal Sensor approximates your core body temperature which is extremely useful if you are doing heat training for racing in the UK or abroad. It clips to your heart rate strap, using a number of metrics to work out your core temperature. It works in conjunction with an app.

Club Gazebo
The Club has a large branded gazebo which people are welcome to hire for private functions. Or by application and at the discretion of the committee, it can also be loaned for use at charity events associated with a Club member.

Bike Box Hire
Members can hire our bike box for only £25 for up to 2 weeks.
This is a tri specific box which only requires wheels and pedals to be removed*, it also fits regular road bikes and even mountain bikes.
You will need to include this on your travel insurance to cover against loss or damage.

* Some Large/ X Large Frames may need some minor component removal. Some types of pedals may need one or both removed.
PLEASE NOTE: the bike box hire is only available to members who have been with the club for at least six months.
