Kendal Triathlon Club Juniors is open to 8-16 year old children (age as of 31st Dec). Our aim is to provide a safe and fun environment for the development of the three disciplines that make up a triathlon, namely swimming, cycling, and running. The club adheres to the British Triathlon Federation (BTF) Safeguarding and Protecting Children Policy and are affiliated to the BTF which provides public liability insurance for all official club coaching sessions.
Members can commit to as much or as little training as they desire with no pressure to compete.
The club will provide Kendal and area with a viable junior triathlon club which provides inclusive training for its members in the furtherance of the sport. The helping and assisting of juniors to achieve their personal goals with the teaching, development and practice of the sport is a high objective of the club.
The Membership fees for the year are £15 per child or £5 if they have a parent as a member in the Senior section. The membership runs from 1st March to 28th February – see the Membership page.
Training sessions will be charged separately on the day of the training session. Generally the training sessions will be charged at £2 per session.
